Collect A's range of pre-historic sea-life is expanded with the addition of a model of the giant Late Jurassic marine reptile Kronosaurus. Each deluxe model from Collect A comes with a small plastic paleontologist named "Sir Arthur Gauge". Sir Arthur is equipped with a pickaxe and binoculars, and serves as a scale reference for each model, allowing for a better appreciation of the size of the Kronosaurus. Pliosaurs were a fearsome family of marine reptiles known for their massive heads, short necks, and broad flippers, and the Kronosaurus, measuring 33 feet from snout to tail and weighing around seven to 10 tons, was among the largest of the pliosaurs. Each prehistoric figure in the Collect A collection has been approved by archeologist Anthony Beeson, ensuring their accuracy. All Collect A models are individually handcrafted to the highest standards and made with safe, high-quality materials. The Kronosaurus had a large head and a very short but muscular neck, with its head making up more than a quarter of its body length. Its remains have been found in Australia and Colombia, leading scientists to believe that it inhabited the Indian and Atlantic oceans during its prime. Furthermore, working with experts from across the globe, Collecta hand-painted figurines are all factually accurate and paleontologist-approved, so little ones can learn while they play. Each prehistoric sculpture has been approved by Anthony Beeson, a respected expert in palaeoimagery based in Bristol, England.
